47th Annual Dinner Dance Celebration

The Latino Chamber of Commerce is excited to host its 47th Annual Dinner Dance Celebration in our beautiful city on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the Pueblo Convention Center. The evening is dedicated to honoring the individuals and organizations that uplift and strengthen our community. For nearly five decades, this signature celebration has showcased the rich contributions of Latino culture while bringing together leaders from across the region.

This year’s celebration will feature a Hollywood theme and an elegant evening of networking, recognition, and entertainment. Cocktail hour begins at 5:00pm, followed by dinner and the evening program at 6:00pm. Guests will enjoy complimentary appetizers, sangria cocktails, and a dinner plate. A silent auction will run throughout the evening until 8:00pm, and the dance floor opens at 8:00pm to cap the evening off with music and dancing.

The Latino Chamber is honored to welcome Mr. Robert Bard, President & CEO of Latina Style Inc., as this year’s keynote speaker. His leadership, experience, and dedication to advancing Latino communities will set an inspiring tone for the evening’s celebration.

Seven distinguished awards, voted on by Latino Chamber membership, staff, and board members, will be presented during the program:

⭐️Victor Navarro Outstanding Board Member of the Year: Caitlin Alcon

⭐️Gil Sanchez Outstanding Professional of the Year: Dr. Chato Hazelbaker

⭐️Lorraine K. Salas Outstanding Community Partner of the Year: Pueblo City-County Library District

⭐️Outstanding Corporate Member of the Year: Vectra Bank Colorado

⭐️Gil Padilla Outstanding Ambassador of the Year: Rebecca Gomez

⭐️Outstanding Non-Profit Member of the Year: El Pomar Foundation

⭐️Joseph P. Roybal Outstanding Small Business of the Year: Freddie Martinez Agency

In addition, attendees will be the first to hear a special announcement unveiling the theme and date of the 48th Annual Dinner Dance Celebration. Event tickets, sponsorships, program advertisements, and silent auction donation opportunities are available.

The Latino Chamber of Commerce and Black Hills Energy are proud to partner and continue to offer the Small Business Utility Assistance Program to Southern Colorado! Four plus years after launching this program in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the program has helped more than 80 businesses pay down their electricity bills, disbursing more than $80,000 in funds to date.

The program was born out of necessity during the pandemic and has since become a resource to help businesses keep their lights on while on the brink of disconnection or during a tough financial position. As of January 1, 2026, there is less than $10,000 left in program funds. The funds will be available on a first come first serve basis and will be available until funds run out.
